SARDS & SHARKS KEEP COMING - Latest on the Sardine Run
According to Mark Anderson-Reade from the KZN Sharks Board, sardine activity was very intense off the Durban beachfront yesterday, (Thursday 19 August) due to the annual Sardine Run, especially down towards Addington Beach. Fishermen turned out in droves to throw nets, and a few large sharks were clearly visible close to shore, occasionally even attacking the nets in the feeding frenzy.
